|
The naive Thymios is dismissed from the gendarmerie due to an indiscretion of his.
He then gets entangled in an unbelievable story and ends up in prison.
There, he will meet the person responsible for his expulsion from the gendarmerie.
This person will give him a job, but Thymios will not settle down again.
He falls in love with a fellow villager who does not want him, not even when the poor man wins the lottery.
