The documentary "Unknown Journey" presents the underwater exploration of the Skliva Mineshaft by the Addicted2h2o team and records the exploratory dive, which was videotaped and was the first in a flooded section of a mining gallery in Greece. The operation began on September 7, 2020, by the mine divers Erricos Kranidiotis and Stelios Stamatakis.

The Lavrion Mines have been for many years a characteristic example of Greece's industrial development but also a testing ground for thousands of miners. The Skliva Mineshaft reaches 180 meters from the surface, while the flooded section visited by the team starts from 110 meters below the surface.

From September 2020 until today, the diving team Addicted2h2o has completed 7 missions at the Skliva Mineshaft, filming nearly half a kilometer underwater and bringing to light significant findings such as the Machine, two ore extraction wagons, various tools, etc.

The team, in collaboration with 8Film Productions and director Christos Giatrakos, completed the production of the documentary, which had international presence in 12 festivals and was screened in Athens in October 2023. The film received 4 awards, including Best Short Documentary at the London Festival.
