A young factory owner, Kostas Hatzipavlou, wanting to conquer Elli, the daughter of the industrialist Achilleas Karbantis, who had slapped him during a soccer game, is hired as a worker in her father's factory. Elli begins to respond to his siege, without realizing, however, that he is not a poor student working to finish his studies. He, with the cover of her father, whom he has informed about, continues to pretend to be a poor guy, completely ignoring the flirtation of a worker, as well as the supervisor's bad temper. When Elli learns who he really is, she becomes furious, leaves her house, and sues him for impersonation, forgery, and fraud. The case goes to court, where dramatic scenes unfold and of course, the accused is acquitted due to stupidity. Once her anger subsides, the stubborn daughter sees Kostas in a different light, falls into his arms, and agrees to become his wife.
