A series of half-hour episodes produced by ERT, showcasing contemporary visual artists presenting their work and discussing the works of important colleagues (Greek and foreign) who have inspired or influenced their aesthetics and technique. Along with the artists' presentations, the universality of the visual arts becomes apparent and how this universality - through their work - is formed and influenced by incorporating elements from their personal and spiritual traditions and experiences.

“Nikomachi Karakostanoglou”
Episode 6
Nikomachi Karakostanoglou studied sculpture and public art in London.
She lives and works in Athens, having worked in Shanghai for three years.
While the style of her work is minimalist in form, it is governed by maximalism in content. Its abstract touch is charged and full of symbolism. Due to her sculptural expressiveness, her drawings outline snapshots through almost imperceptible three-dimensional animate forms.
For Nikomachi, notions like nature, light, movement, rhythms of everyday life, and silence are the main source of inspiration for her designs.
In the documentary, she talks about two artists who inspire her, the sculptor Yannoulis Halepas and the Brazilian artist Solange Pessoa.
