Stamatina Stamatakou is a journalist, who, from a very young age, loved animals. A sequence of events led her to actively engage in animal welfare. At the age of 24, she has saved hundreds of animals, offering her own time, care and money. Even her profession is perfectly linked to her love for animals. But her social action doesn’t end here. For the past few years, she is accommodating Syndra, a girl of Syrian origin, in her house, whom she supports in her effort to build her life and study.
