Diamond thief Frankie "Four Fingers" arrives in London from New York to deliver a massive diamond to his boss, Avi. However, after offloading smaller stones to a quirky group of London nouveau riche, Frankie—and the diamond—fall into the wrong hands. Meanwhile, two shady boxing promoters discover Irish gypsy fighter Mickey O'Neil and recruit him, provided he takes a dive as instructed.

When Avi arrives in London searching for his diamond, chaos ensues as various parties pursue their illegal—and often absurd—agendas. The result is a whirlwind of plans gone awry, rising tempers, dogs, diamonds, caravans, boxers, and a plethora of weapons, all caught in a chaotic free-for-all.

Talented director Guy Ritchie, following the success of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, delivers another masterpiece of style and storytelling. His direction is fast-paced and dynamic, with frenetic editing and twists upon twists.

Brad Pitt shines as Mickey, a gypsy with an unbeatable punch, in one of his most entertaining performances. Football fans might also be pleasantly surprised by the acting chops of Vinnie Jones, the former Chelsea defender from the 1980s.
