Shortly before proposing to his girlfriend for marriage, Aristidis finds himself inadvertently in the apartment of a couple. Later, unaware that the man he had argued with in the illicit love nest was his beloved's father, he describes the incident to his future mother-in-law. When she realizes what happened, she demands an explanation from her husband who, denying everything, tries to make Aristidis look crazy and drive him away...
