A series of hour-long episodes produced in 2023-24, "Wild Greece" is an exciting journey featuring two friends, Ilias and Grigoris, who guide us through the unexplored paths of Greece's wild nature.
Ilias, with his extensive scientific knowledge, and Grigoris, with his passion for exploration, bring images and experiences to our screens that are largely unknown to the general public. As they traverse inaccessible areas, mountains, rivers, and forests, viewers enjoy rare and stunning visuals of the natural environment.
What makes "Wild Greece" special is its blend of entertainment and education. The viewer becomes part of the journey, gaining knowledge that is often rare and unknown, while also encountering wildlife that may be close to us, yet we know little about.
The aim of the show is to raise awareness among the audience through entertainment and knowledge, especially during a critical time for the ecosystems of our planet.

In this latest adventure of Wild Greece, Ilias and Grigoris finally meet after a decade apart to try once more to conquer the summit of one of northern Greece's highest mountains, the impressive Orvilos!

They start their trip by stopping in the mountain village of Ilias, which is at the foot of Orvilos, Achladochori Serres. Grigoris will find out everything he wants to know about Ilias, whether he wants to or not.

The story of the wildlife starts in the lowlands of the mountain, where the main characters meet a friendly tree lizard and an unusual-looking Greenosaurus!

The challenging ascent of Orvilos is well worth it for the chance to see a rare mountain butterfly, some expensive endemic plants and the incredible view of the peak of Tsolias at 2212 metres!
