Teneldos [With English subtitles]
Episode 1
Telendos – a tiny island west of Kalymnos, just eighteen nautical miles from Turkey. Its name suggests an "end"—the tip of a long stretch of land. Though small, Telendos has proven resilient over time, home to a handful of loyal residents. There’s Panagiotis, the island’s teacher; Pantelis with his fishing boat; Savas, the only child on the island; his mother Maria, who still weaves at the loom; and Mr. Haralambos, Savas’s grandfather, who suffered from diver’s disease at a young age. Through their stories, we come to understand that while life on Telendos may not be easy, they are exactly where they want to be.
