A carefree and spoiled character, Telis Spartalis, who cares only about his own entertainment, squanders his entire paternal fortune on revelry and gambling. His sister, Elli, a beautiful and serious lawyer, as well as his wealthy aunt, Julie, do everything they can to prevent this situation, but Telis is completely oblivious to his degradation. His aunt pressures him to become engaged to the rich Nana, who, in turn, is a party enthusiast and has the ability to bail him out of debt.
At some point, they realize that Telis has fallen into the clutches of schemers, led by the swindler Stelios, who want to take even the factory he has inherited. Then, everyone rallies together, including his sister and Nana, and they defeat the villains. The factory is saved, the hero's mind somehow "clears up," and the love that blossoms between Telis and Nana seals the happy ending.
