Zafeira is a 27-year-old Greek-Spanish musician and orchestra conductor who grew up between two homelands. Going back and forth between Spain and Greece, spending summers in Greece, a grandmother from Sinasos of Cappadocia (from whom she was named after), a Spanish mother, a professor of Ancient Greek who taught her the language and passed on to her a deep love for Greece... there are the things that defined her as a person. Then, the love for music came and along with it, the faith and desire to become a conductor! She studies piano and music theory in Spain and England yet she chooses to live in Greece. Zafeira becomes the principal conductor of the “EL SISTEMA GREECE YOUTH ORCHESTRA” from 2018 to 2020. In this orchestra Zafeira makes her dream come true; she teaches dozens of children from all over the world to love music.
