Businessman Thanasis Baroutsos (Lambros Konstantaras) is a confirmed bachelor. He is highly irritable and constantly argues with his employee (Stavros Xenidis) and his housekeeper (Despina Stylianopoulou). Additionally, he experiences excessive hypochondria, often bothering his doctor for trivial reasons.

Nana (Popi Lazou), Thanasis's cousin, believes that the cause of his cousin's ill temper is the lack of a partner. For this reason, she conspires with her friend Mary Angelidou (Maro Kontou) in an attempt to change his beliefs.
