Yannis Darras meets Despoina Michail, a newly appointed teacher born in Germany, who left her parents behind in Düsseldorf and her husband in Patmos to teach Savvas, the only student on the island of Telendos. And this uniqueness isn’t a luxury—it’s a responsibility.
