Diamantis Karanampasis, a butcher, decides to buy a penthouse in an apartment building in Kolonaki, sparking complaints from some of its residents. Led by the Aspromallis couple—both employees at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs—and the aristocratic yet fallen de la Sibela couple, the residents indulge in petty behavior. However, another tenant, retired general and Albanian front hero Stefanos Koutsomitros, who owes his life to Diamantis, helps them realize that neither Diamantis is the villain nor they are the heroes. As a result, Diamantis and his family are accepted into the building. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to their parents, the children of the Karanampasis and Koutsomitros families fall in love.
