Greek social drama film, produced in 2017 | 90 minutes
Just a short distance from the protests in downtown Athens, sixteen-year-old Margarita is holding an orange in her hand, preparing to throw it at a police van parked nearby. Inside the van, her father Giorgos is about to blow out the candles on his birthday cake, while his colleagues sing "Happy Birthday" around him.
In an effort to protect her daughter from the unrest and to offer one last chance to repair their strained father-daughter relationship, Sofia, Margarita’s mother, sends Giorgos and Margarita to their country house for a few days, believing that whatever happens there, it couldn’t possibly be worse than the chaos unfolding in the city.
