Yiannis, a teacher from the villages of Pelion, collects and organizes stories from the past. Starting with a photograph, he unravels tales of people from the previous century who experienced the turbulent history of the region, from the world wars to the Civil War. Through scattered fragments of memory, a new vision for the future of the area emerges.

A randomly witnessed photograph inspires a journey to the past. Yiannis- the photographer and a local teacher- takes us to the house where he took the photo. There he will unfold the story of its former resident, Thodoris, who fought for the liberation against the Nazis during WWII, before being imprisoned as a communist by the Greek Government. Together we bear witness to the remains of a life spent between the battlefield and the prison cell.
