This documentary investigates who the Greek-speaking Vlachs are, how they live today, and what they have achieved.
The journey begins in the cradle of the Vlachs, which in today’s Albania is Moscopole, and travels through the Vlach-speaking villages of Greece.
It meets proud Vlachs who still speak the Vlach dialect and are fighting to preserve their history.
The program also explores Romania’s role in claiming a connection to the Vlach identity and heritage.
Finally, it showcases notable Vlachs who have excelled in Greece and across Europe.
