Recorded musical performance held on November 3, 2023, at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.

Composer Giorgos Kazantzis, in collaboration with the Thessaloniki Municipal Symphony Orchestra, presents a curated selection of his instrumental works, all arranged by the composer himself.

This concert reflects his musical journey in search of his personal style, featuring pieces that have shaped his orchestral world.

The audience will enjoy well-known compositions with a cinematic atmosphere that have been beloved both in Greece and abroad, such as The Waltz of Utopia, Soroko, and the orchestral version of the soundtrack from the TV series Wild Bees (Agries Melisses).

Also featured are some of Kazantzis’ most cherished songs, now performed with symphonic arrangements and interpreted by the acclaimed vocalist Vasilis Lekkas, including Winterbloom (Chimonanthos), It Was Wind (Itane Aeras), Bees (Melisses), as well as selections from their joint album Sail and Steam (Katarti ki Atmos).

The orchestral spectacle will be accompanied by an interactive visual projection, created in real time, based on the shifting frequencies and dynamics of the orchestra’s sound.
