Comedy, produced in 1958.
A poor man, Theodosis Mendikas, who lives in a working-class neighborhood of Athens, runs a "miracle tent" at a funfair. One day, he learns from a lawyer that he has inherited his long-lost brother, who has been living in Africa for years. This joyous news prompts him to sell his tent and change his lifestyle, dragging along his nephew, Nasos, a car mechanic in love with Mary, the daughter of his friend Mikhou Derma, who also works at the amusement park. With borrowed money from a loan shark, uncle and nephew indulge with Lousi and Bembi, who have their eyes on their fortune. However, a second will that makes Derma the heir drives the two opportunists away, while Derma proves to be a good person, giving Theodosios the money that rightfully belongs to him. As for Mary, she is willing to forgive Nasos for a moment of weakness because she truly loves him.
