The delightful Eleni Rantou, Dafni Lamprogianni and Foteini Baxevani star in this much-loved family comedy series. The first one is Fouli, a mother with a nightclub career, the second is Despoina, a mother with principles and good manners and the third is Aristea, a mother carrying packed lunches for her offspring and warding off the evil eye. However different they may be from one another, one thing is certain; that each one of them is bound to disrupt the life of her only son once and for all.

What’s more, the three mothers may well have jumped for joy when they decided to stay in Athens, but they didn't think about how they are going to tell it to their sons! Suddenly, they put their joy aside... Because Aristea doesn’t want Efthymis to know that she's staying to marry him off, nor does Despoina want to tell Manos that she knows about his double life and much less does Fouli want Loukas to know that she's going to perform again. Perhaps they rejoiced too soon after all and now their plans are beginning to fall through. The solution, at least for Fouli and Despoina, will finally be given by a funeral and the timeless Greek cinema. However, what is Aristea, who seems to be the only one who hasn't found an excuse to stay in Athens, going to do? Is it possible that the one who first thought of not returning to the village will be the first to return? Zoya Sevastianou (Papatsonis' widow) and Stefania Karagianni (candidate nanny) appear as guests.
