Anna lives alone with her dog, Manu, in a small apartment. She believes they will always be happy together. But when Manu dies, Anna doesn’t know what to do. She asks to bury him in the garden of the house across the street. That cheerful home becomes her refuge. She falls in love—with the other woman, the children, and the life they share.
