Series about the Greek music tradition.
The aim is to record and promote to the audience the richness, variety, and expressiveness of our musical heritage, through the local musical idioms as well as its modern potential in the urban environment of the big city.

Lambros Liavas and "Salt of the Earth" welcome "Pentaichon", a dynamic group of five exceptional young musicians, on a fascinating journey through the diverse traditions of Hellenism.
Together, they travel from Macedonia to the Morea, from the Cyclades to the Dodecanese, and from Lesvos to Smyrna and Constantinople. At the same time, they bring the echoes of "world music", blending them with Greek melodies, as well as their own compositions inspired by tradition.
The members of the ensemble belong to the younger generation of traditional musicians who, despite being born and raised in the big city, discovered traditional music through their studies in music schools and universities. They combine systematic research with experiential learning through dedicated engagement and multifaceted artistic endeavors.
