"Portraits with Christos Vasilopoulos" is dedicated to well-known people of the arts who have left a strong imprint on Greece. These are twelve show specials with elements of research, shedding light on all aspects of culture. What has been the secret of their success, but also what have been the difficulties they have gone through and the bitterness they have experienced? Also, what has their everyday life been like, who were the people closest to them, and the people who have influenced them? "People with Christos Vasilopoulos" sheds light on these people's lives and distinguishes myth from reality.

The show “Portraits with Christos Vasilopoulos” presents the life and career of Nikos Xylouris. The research illuminates the steps of the artist, who, starting from Anogeia and the “mantinades” (i.e. Cretan lyrical poems), found himself at the Polytechnic singing “Pote tha kanei ksasteria” alongside the students. Psaronikos, as he was nicknamed, made his father proud from his birth, as he was the first and longed-for son of the family after three girls. Christos Vasilopoulos visited Anogeia, where relatives and friends of Xylouris described his love for Cretan music and especially for the lyre. It even took the intervention of his teacher, who realized his talent early on and convinced his father to buy him one. His old schoolmates describe how Psaronikos would charm them with his playing and how they would gather around him. So they nicknamed him Klossou.
