A large international water cleaning company experiences a significant malfunction in its filtration system in Ecuador, South America, resulting in a typhoid fever outbreak in the city. Government security forces invade and shoot the village residents to prevent the spread of information and jeopardize the company's upcoming major deal in South Africa. Morgan Swinton, the daughter of the family business behind this, discovers what is happening and hires a former CIA agent, Jack Begosian, to uncover the truth.
