The industrialist Vranas from Thessaloniki plans to marry his son Alexis to Anna, the daughter of an Athenian industrialist.
Alexis reacts to his father's plan and instructs his chauffeur Nondas to impersonate him during the meeting with the bride-to-be.
Similarly, Anna does the same with her maid Maria.
In the end, Nondas falls in love with Maria, and Alexis with Anna.
