Signals, the television show with Rea Vitali, returns with a new season of 12 episodes.
The show addresses challenging topics that concern contemporary society, encouraging us to "get uncomfortable," reflect, and possibly reconsider what we take for granted.
Chronicler Rea Vitali, with an exploratory mindset and a diverse mix of guests sharing their knowledge and experiences, approaches each theme from multiple angles. She clarifies complex issues and highlights new perspectives. Sometimes looking into the past and at other times focusing on the future, the goal of the show is to provide "food for thought," not necessarily to provide answers, but certainly to stimulate insights and questions.

Episode 4
In this episode, "SIGNALS" delves into the evolving perceptions of gender identity, focusing on the linguistic shift involving the Greek neuter article "Το."
The main guest is Sam Albatros, a Greek author and lecturer at King’s College London, who identifies and introduces themselves with the neuter article "Το." The discussion explores the inclusion of "Το" in our lives and everyday language.
"How can I adjust my language? Born in 1961, I’ve been taught ‘Ο’ for the masculine, ‘Η’ for the feminine, and ‘Το’ for the neutral. Please understand—how do I address someone as ‘Το Kostas’ or ‘Το Maria’?" wonders Rea Vitali.
Sam Albatros, known for their distinctive mask (as their face has never been revealed) and striking attire, guides us through this new linguistic and cultural reality.
Is this a trend? Has it come to stay? Is it here to challenge our comfort zones, educate us, and make us question what we consider fixed? Their dialogue stirs emotions and reflections throughout the conversation.
Joining the discussion is Eleonora Sourlaga, a psychologist and accomplished author who has dedicated 26 years of her career to working as a psychologist for elementary school children. Drawing on her professional experience and role as a mother, she offers guidance on addressing diversity and fostering inclusivity when communicating with children. Additionally, Alexis Mordot, a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, provides illuminating insights, enriching the conversation on this timely and thought-provoking topic.
