Needing a break from his ordinary life, factory worker Douglas Quaid visits Rekall, a company that can turn dreams into real memories. Thinking that memories of his life as a super-spy would be ideal, Quaid undergoes the procedure—but everything goes terribly wrong. Suddenly, Quaid is on the run. He teams up with a rebel fighter in a quest to find the leader of the underground resistance and eliminate the leader of the free world.

The film serves as a remake of the 1990 film of the same name, which was inspired by Philip K. Dick’s 1966 short story We Can Remember It for You Wholesale.
