A series of hour-long episodes produced in 2023-24, "Wild Greece" is an exciting journey featuring two friends, Ilias and Grigoris, who guide us through the unexplored paths of Greece's wild nature.
Ilias, with his extensive scientific knowledge, and Grigoris, with his passion for exploration, bring images and experiences to our screens that are largely unknown to the general public. As they traverse inaccessible areas, mountains, rivers, and forests, viewers enjoy rare and stunning visuals of the natural environment.
What makes "Wild Greece" special is its blend of entertainment and education. The viewer becomes part of the journey, gaining knowledge that is often rare and unknown, while also encountering wildlife that may be close to us, yet we know little about.
The aim of the show is to raise awareness among the audience through entertainment and knowledge, especially during a critical time for the ecosystems of our planet.

In this episode of "Wild Greece," Ilia and Grigoris meet for a decade-long rendezvous to attempt to conquer the summit of one of the highest mountains in Northern Greece, the impressive Orvilos!
They begin their journey with a stop at Ilia's mountain village at the foot of Orvilos, Ahladhokhori in Serres, where Grigoris will inevitably learn all about the area from Ilia.
Their exploration of the wild begins at the lower slopes of the mountain, where the protagonists encounter a charming tree frog and an exotic green lizard! The challenging ascent of Orvilos rewards them with sightings of a rare mountain butterfly, elusive endemic plants, and an indescribable view from the summit of Tsolias, standing at 2,212 meters!
