After narrowly escaping death and surviving the bloody games devised by the sinister Minos Corporation, lucky players Zoe and Ben now face their trauma following the events of Escape Room (2019). However, instead of finding answers and closing the chapter, Zoe and Ben soon find themselves swept into another series of diabolically designed death traps. As a handful of former escapees join the fray, the contestants must work together to outsmart their inhumane tormentors and give everything they have to solve increasingly complex puzzles. This time, the invisible dangers are more intricate, and escape seems futile. Who will live and who will die in the sadistic Tournament of Champions?

The film is a sequel to Escape Room (2019).
