Testimonies of Women with Resistance Activity during the German Occupation Period

The documentary presents the stories of Maria Glymidaki-Manolaraki, Stavroula Paparaftaki-Sioni, and Afroditi Poulinaki-Fragkiadaki, who experienced the Battle of Crete in 1941 and actively participated in it. The narratives are accompanied by rich archival material, both audiovisual and photographic, from the military operations, the units involved, various areas of Crete during the battles, the destruction caused in Cretan villages, and the war crimes committed there by the German occupation forces.
