Weekly Show, Production of ERT3, 2021-2022

A show about the herbs of the Greek land. We examine the history, importance and value of herbs in modern times but also to the folk tradition, either lost or forgotten, that accompanies them; wandering in the rich Greek nature, we follow a search of people related to it and maintain a life relationship with herbs.

What can terebinth shoots have in common with mastic? Can wild greens be used in pies or salads? Do they have therapeutic properties; Together with the women of Vizitsa, Valia collects young turpentine shoots and healing Dandelion, while learning the use of of 'lye' in firiki apple syrup. Memories and knowledge are passed down from generation to generation and are given to us generously!
