"Andreas Vousouras"
Episode 17
The show “An image, a thousand thoughts” presents the portrait of visual artist Andreas Vousouras.
Vousouras is a self-taught artist, using materials he collects from junk shops, the streets and the garbage. He uses dead cockroaches and dead cicadas, as well as any other useless thing we throw away every day as a society. His imaginative compositions are inspired by his everyday life, but mainly by the books he reads. In the documentary he presents works inspired by specific literary texts, which he reads and analyzes.
