Roviros Manthoulis' journey into cinema began in 1957. For half a century, he directed 130 films around the world, most of them documentaries.

In 1967, he went into self-exile in France after the screening of his film Face to Face, which was banned by the junta, and he has lived there ever since.

After the fall of the Junta, in 1975, Roviros Manthoulis, from his position as Artistic Director of ERT, assigned the "Paraskinio" series to the Cinetic team.

Thirty-two years later, the program meets Roviros Manthoulis again and talks with him about cinema, television, and documentaries.
