"Islands on the Edge" is a documentary series by ERT3 that portrays the life of a few inhabitants on small outlying islands. Through a cinematic view, the experiences of the people, their stories, the past, the present, and the future of these remote places are captured. Each episode is a journey, a collection of images, faces, and moments of everyday life. An attempt to understand a different world, a small isolated land surrounded by sea.

In Chalki, when the southwest wind blows, the sea thunders. Captain Vasilis is anxious for his ship, which is tied up in the harbor. Papassavas collaborates with the crew of Albanian builders in the biological cleaning project, since he is the only one who knows how to read designs. At this time of year, the island has few locals, but the Albanian community gives life, as many live and work here. Rajep has built his family and his life here. And Panagiotis, who came from Athens, opened a pharmacy on the island, contributing in his own way to the life of the island.
