Ektoras Mavridis is a ceramist who, in recent years, has devoted himself to his ongoing project, "Svoloi" ("Clods"), where he explores the imprint of primordial form in public spaces. The clods he gathers from the plowed fields serve as his raw material. Their shape and the scent of moist earth evoke powerful memories for him. He observes them, touches them, and seeks to transform them. Working with fire, water, and time, he channels the energy of his body, with its soul reflected in the deep blue color of his creations. The clods now have no weight, floating above the ears of wheat, carrying with them a piece of the memories and identity of their creator, Ektoras.
