In 1968, Georgios Papandreou is having an operation in a central hospital in Athens. Kyveli, separated for years from the great love of her life, goes to see him. How did these two eminent figures of Greek history come together? One in politics, one in theater? It all begins a long time ago...

1968 Kyveli mourns and reminisces about their life together. She prepares to go and say goodbye to the man who left his mark on her life.

Olga learns that she is being watched in all her movements and puts her husband in an unfavorable position in his job. The secret police are watching the house of Fontas and Olga.

PAST Kyveli, Giorgakis and Papandreou have passed through Lebanon, through Cairo, where the Government-in-exile had been established, and have arrived at the end of the war in Italy to cross to Greece. The family returns to Greece and Papandreou makes his first political speech in a liberated Greece. The events of December follow. Kyveli decides to take Giorgakis to doctors abroad, in Europe and America. Rosita Serrano is the star of the Athens nightlife.
