In 1968, Georgios Papandreou is having an operation in a central hospital in Athens. Kyveli, separated for years from the great love of her life, goes to see him. How did these two eminent figures of Greek history come together? One in politics, one in theater? It all begins a long time ago...

1968 Papandreou undergoes stomach surgery. Kyveli's daughter, Miranda, stands by her anxious mother. Gkouveris and the captain discuss Fontas’ loyalty to the dictatorship, which they have begun to question. In the Evangelismos hospital, they forbid Papandreou's son, Giorgakis, to enter his room. Foteini and Michalis are approaching their final goal. The love between Agapi and Spyros the chauffeur does not remain a secret. Kyveli digs up old stories by reading Giorgis' letters to her. PAST Giorgakis, the son of Kyveli and Papandreou, is born in Switzerland. Kyveli gives him the name of her beloved. The birth certificate, however, is the cause of the couple's first big fight. In Athens, her family learns the good news. Upon her return, Kyveli continues to perform in theater, but Papandreou has other plans. Kyveli supports him on his way to power.
