"Christos Antonaropoulos"
Episode 8
The artist, Christos Antonaropoulos, unwinds the thread of his life and artistic work, in which he constantly attempts to engage in a fruitful dialogue with the history of art. At the same time, he cites his two major influences: Pablo Picasso, whom he recognises as the epitome of the great artist of the 20th century, who possessed all the techniques of painting, sculpture and engraving and could express himself in an almost perfect way. And, on the other hand, he cites the prematurely lost, Jean Michel Basquiat, an artist with a raw, flowing talent, expressed in an urban, wild primitivism.
