Alkis Konstantinidis
Alkis Konstantinidis joined Reuters in 2014, covering the economic and political crisis in Greece. Over the years, he has devoted much of his career to covering the refugee crisis. He was a close collaborator of Giannis Bechrakis. In 2016, he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in the Breaking News Photography category, along with a team of Reuters photographers. In 2019, he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for the second time, for his coverage of the refugee crisis at the Mexico-US border. But, behind the awards, there are some life-changing photos and stories.
