Thirteen visual artists present their works and cite works by important colleagues (Greek and foreign), who inspired or influenced their aesthetics and style.

Through the presentation of the artists themselves, the universality of visual art and how this universality - through their work - is constituted and influenced by incorporating elements from their experiential and spiritual tradition and experience. The Athens School of Fine Arts has been an advisor to the series.

Aristomenis Theodoropoulos, visual artist and graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts (2005–2010), with both solo and group exhibitions to his credit, talks to us about his work — part of which is currently on display in his third solo exhibition titled “OUTSIDE”, held at METS Arts Center.

His artistic journey begins with representational painting, which in his current works is expressed through a more free, more open style.
