The program captures the Easter traditions in the villages of Agios Georgios, Monachitiou, Karperou, Kipouriou, Sitara, and Spileou in the Grevena region.
Initially, it records children in a village singing the carols on Lazarus Saturday, known as "Lazarines."

On Palm Sunday, women dressed in traditional Macedonian costumes dance and sing carols, surrounded by the villagers. During Holy Week, women whitewash, clean, and prepare "Lambrokouloura" (Easter cookies).

Meanwhile, the painting of eggs is showcased early on Great Thursday, as well as the so-called "perdikes," specially painted eggs offered to special people. There is also discussion about Easter markets and the completion of preparations.

Next, footage from the Resurrection night at the village church follows. Scenes from the Easter Sunday feast and lamb roasting are shown. The celebrations are depicted with women dressed in traditional costumes dancing outdoors and village men singing traditional Macedonian folk songs.

Then, the spring season in Macedonia is discussed, providing historical and folkloric information about the roots and content of the traditional Easter dances and songs. There is also mention of the celebration of Saint George’s Day, which serves as a landmark day for shepherds.

Another tradition is the athletic games held during the afternoons of Holy Week.

Finally, the "Tetramida" is presented, a custom marking the farewell to Easter in the villages of Grevena.
