Manolis Skoudris, who has been married to Veta for ten years, is a quiet family man but very stingy. He has never given his wife even a small gift. One evening, they go out to have fun with his partner, Giorgos, and two beautiful and lively Greek-American women, Margaret and Evelyn. There, Manolis spends more money than he usually would. However, to his misfortune, Evelyn turns out to be Vangelitsa, a distant cousin of his wife, who comes to their house for dinner the next day. Naturally, she makes his life difficult until she manages to convince him to become more generous, especially towards his wife.
