Yiannis, a teacher from the villages of Pelion, collects and organizes stories from the past. Starting with a photograph, he unravels tales of people from the previous century who experienced the turbulent history of the region, from the world wars to the Civil War. Through scattered fragments of memory, a new vision for the future of the area emerges.

Zeti visits Moses, a Jewish man whose family fled Pelion after the destruction of WWII. Back in Pelion, Yiannis remembers how he discovered that his own family shared a roof with Moses' grandparents. He takes us through their story and recalls how as descendants of families that lived together, himself and Moses' siblings collaborated to collect the puzzle pieces of their joint past.
