A series of 12 original half-hour documentaries, presenting traditional arts and techniques in the 21st century, filmed in various parts of Greece. The young protagonist Christos Zacharof travels from Corfu and Paramythia to Lesvos and Patmos, Geraki, Laconia and Lagkadia, Arcadia, to Alexandroupoli and the villages in the Rhodope mountains, places where economically viable traditional professions are still practiced, most of which are included in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage.
Christos attempts to learn the secrets of marble craftsmanship, wooden shipbuilding, silversmithing, or knitting in the places where they are practiced, working alongside the craftsmen. Along with Christos, the viewer of the documentary also experiences the struggle, difficulties, and peculiarities of each art!

The silversmithing craft of Ioannina has known times of great glory, fame and honor, while the silversmiths of Ioannina take care to pass on their art to their children, always hoping that the new generation will pioneer in order to keep the tradition alive.

In the first episode of the show, Christos watches the transformation of the silver grains into an endless thin silver wire that he still winds with his hands. Later he will be introduced to the art of filigree and will also try to make the famous designs of filigree jewelry makers.

However, Christos the craftsman is waiting for him at the molding boxes, so that together they can create the imposing cast silver cutlery. In the end, a family of silversmiths initiates him into the secrets of apprenticeship with the master craftsman. With him, the viewer will feel the magic of the fire that transforms silver into jewelry, will enjoy the traditional processes that lead to the final product and will get an idea of the group that is created around a craftsman in the bustling workshops by the lake of Ioannina, the city that is rightly called "the city of silversmiths".
