The "Open Book" series, produced by ERT in 2024, features one-hour episodes hosted by Giannis Sarakatsanis, dedicated exclusively to books and Greek authors.
In each episode, we highlight contemporary Greek publishing activity by hosting its creators. We recommend children's books for young readers, visit an established author who shares insights into their daily life, and renowned artists discuss the books that changed their lives!

Episode's description
Three acclaimed children's book authors, Leda Varvarousi, Angeliki Darlasi, and Giorgos Panagiotakis, discuss how we talk to children and teenagers about life and its complexities.
We visit Petros Markaris at his home, where he shares with us how he came up with the idea for the protagonist of his books, Kostas Charitos, as well as the theme of the book he has just written!
We visit a bookbinder in his workshop to see how a book is made, and ZoePre tells us about her favorite books.
