Five exceptional, versatile, and daring Greek musicians with international careers return to Greece to form a chamber ensemble… in the village.

Yiannis Darras travels to mountainous Arcadia and Crete to observe the activities of a unique musical group. These musicians are not one-day visitors performing classical pieces in rural areas. Instead, they immerse themselves in the local communities for extended periods, interacting with residents and exploring uncharted musical paths. They study, rehearse, and create new works.

The result of this coexistence, along with performances of classical, Baroque, and Renaissance music, resonates within Byzantine churches and mosques, directly linking the musical cultivation of local communities with acts of social contribution.
