One-hour program, produced in 2024.
What does one feel when dancing? How does it liberate them? What drives someone to dedicate their life to the art of dance?
From street dances and tango to classical and contemporary dance, the documentary series "Dance Time" aims to portray dancers, teachers, choreographers, and individuals who engage in various dance styles, capturing the passion, teamwork, pain, rigorous preparation, discipline, and joy that each of them experiences.
"Dance Time" is the first documentary series by ERT dedicated exclusively to dance. For another season, it overflows with music, movement, and rhythm.
This is an idea by Nicole Alexandropoulou, who also writes the script and directs, inspiring us to get up from our couches.

"Europe Dances Greek Dances" Part I [With English subtitles]
Episode 11
Europe is dancing Greek dances! "Dance Time" travels to Brussels and Aartselaar and meets people of different nationalities, who are learning Greek dances.
Maria Karachaliou, Vice President of the Lyceum of Greek Women in Brussels, and Kalitsa Pantazi, the soul of the Kalitsa Dance Group, keep the tradition alive for Greeks in Belgium, whether they are older-generation immigrants or have recently moved for work. The truly remarkable thing, however, is that they have managed to attract the interest of dozens of people from various nationalities, who find something so intriguing in Greek dances and Greece's traditions that they choose to engage with it in their free time.
"Dance Time" follows their lessons, as the protagonists confess their deep thoughts to Nikola Alexandropoulou, who is behind the camera.
Available on ERTFLIX.
