The "Open Book" series, produced by ERT in 2024, features one-hour episodes hosted by Giannis Sarakatsanis, dedicated exclusively to books and Greek authors.
In each episode, we highlight contemporary Greek publishing activity by hosting its creators. We recommend children's books for young readers, visit an established author who shares insights into their daily life, and renowned artists discuss the books that changed their lives!

We meet three authors whose books have been adapted into series on ERT!
Stefanos Dandolos, Dorina Papaliou, and Beatrice Saias-Magrizou share how their books came to life on the television screen and discuss the changes that had to be made along the way.
We also sit down with author Vivian Stergiou, who explains how she blends everyday experiences with humor and cynicism against the backdrop of the chaotic modern world.
Additionally, songwriter Spyros Grammenos reveals the books that changed his life, and Elpiniki Papadopoulou takes us on a tour of Odysseas Elytis’ home.
