Assimakis, a widower and father of two children, is the owner of a paint store and a fortune he built with great effort. His children, Aris and Lena, want to spend their father's money for their own benefit. Zoitsa convinces Asimakis to furnish an apartment – a love nest for him and his beloved. His family reacts to this plan until Aris and Zoitsa fall in love, and the apartment is eventually furnished for the young couple.
