"Hold the Night" offers a lively journey through the history of folk music.

The hosts are the top maestro-composer of major hits, Christos Nikolopoulos, and the popular singer who has paved her own path in folk and contemporary folk music, Melina Aslanidou.

Joining them is the lyricist Lina Nikolakopoulou, who collaborates with her talent, knowledge, and love for Greek music.

The historical folk music researcher, Kostas Balahoutis, participates in the program, providing ample documentary material.

The orchestra director is Nikos Stratigos.

Invited singers will perform beloved songs, as well as their own hits. Joining them will be personalities suitable for each episode's musical theme.

The music show 'Hold the Night' highlights its best moments, presenting an episode with thirty-two popular folk songs selected from its initial episodes:

'Clouds Will Pass By' featuring 'elafra' and rebetiko songs from the 1940s performed by Giannis Dionysiou, Aspasia Stratigou, and Nadia Kontogeorgi.

'Tribute to Giannis Papaioannou' showcasing the finest songs of this folk and rebetiko music composer, performed by Giorgos Margaritis, Sophia Papazoglou, and Giorgis Tsouris.

'My Beloved Folk Songs' where Kostas Makedonas sings alongside Gianna Vasileiou and the Giaginides, performing cherished songs.

'Mikis Theodorakis: Folk Paths'. A tribute to the folk songs of our great Mikis, featuring interpretations by Dimitris Basis, Vicky Karatzoglou, the composer's grandson Angelos Theodorakis, Stefanos Korkolis, and Sofia Manousaki.
